AGUARDIENTE
The World Premiere Musical “Aguardiente” debuted at Teatro Gala in Washington DC from April 30th until May 24th. Directed and choreographed by Luis Salgado and composed by Daniel Alejandro Gutierrez and Luis Salgado. A story about staying true to yourself, roots and vision following your heart. Talking about themes like leaving your hometown to follow your dreams or staying to fight for it, putting art in the fist place, difficulties of getting visas as international artists, sponsors, love and freedom.
ERIC’S ROLE
Originated the principal role of Eve, an American producer. In the real world, Eve embodies capitalism and the constant chase for financial gain. In the fictional space, she transforms into Z, a power player who only offers opportunities if revenue follows. He is a love conflict and symbol of temptation. With his big number being the song “Wear Something Fancy” a big dance number while singing. Besides that, Eric is also part of the ensemble sometimes showcasing his dance abilities.
